FAQ
Everything about Spark Junior
The first consultation with an orthodontist should be done around the age of 5. The consultation does not mean immediate braces. The decision may be for monitoring in order to determine the optimal time for treatment.
Spark Junior is recommended in cases of crowded teeth, spaces between teeth, incorrect bite, narrow jaw, permanent teeth that do not have enough space.
Most often, treatment begins between the ages of 8 and 14, but some problems are better treated earlier. Between the ages of 5 and 7 is a very good time for evaluation and interceptive treatments.
Spark Junior is designed for children with mixed dentition, generally between 7 and 14 years old, but the orthodontist determines the best timing.
Typically appointments are scheduled every 6-8 weeks to monitor progress and replace aligners as needed.
Aligners are discreet and easy to remove for snacks or brushing, making them school-friendly.
Each set is usually worn for 1-2 weeks, depending on the treatment plan and progress.
It is recommended to remove aligners during meals and drinks, except for water, to keep them clean and in shape.
The Spark Junior system is designed in 2 stages: Phase 1 (children under 13) can last approximately a year and a half and includes treatment and refinement; Phase 2 continues into adolescence, if further corrections are needed.
Treatment with clear aligners like Spark is usually not painful, but it may cause temporary discomfort, especially at the beginning or when changing your aligners.
